Group Overview
We provide interactive instruction to 1st through 3rd graders. Each child gets to pick a seed and plant it in a peat pot. They are asked to take it home for three weeks and bring the pot back into class to share their experiences with the rest of the class. The seed anatomy and various plant growth stages are discussed.
Background & History
We started this when we realized how excited my son became when we had him help us plant our first vegetable garden in the backyard. We enjoyed his enthusiasm and how much he enjoyed growing and picking all of the vegetables we would have for dinner. We though about ways to share this joy with the rest of the world - and this is what we came up with. The littlest things can bring the greatest joys.
Management Team
Gerald, Bill and Jim have provide funding and have managed this effort for the past 4 years.

Philosophy & Culture
As the saying goes "From a small seed grows the great oak tree". By providing this opportunity to young children we are planting the seeds for a great future. Such a small investment for such a great return!
