The Solar Center at Stanford says:

"It is a common misconception that the Sun is yellow, or orange or even red. However, the Sun is essentially all colors mixed together, which appear to our eyes as white. When we see the Sun at sunrise or sunset, it may appear yellow, orange, or red. But that is only because its short light rays (blue, purple) are scattered out by the Earth's atmosphere, much like small waves are dispersed by big rocks along the shore."

I wrote to them and ordered 3 small grocery bags. They gave me free shipping and threw in a natural carryall. That bag can be carried like a backpack, suitcase, or simple sack. It even has a small wood frame with wheels on the bottom so you can pull it behind you if you overload it!

Unfortunately, right now there are a lot of areas that I would be wary of riding a bike because of all the traffic speeding by.
